These sets were issued to the public to help familiarise them with the decimal system.
Up to a year before Decimal Day on Monday, 15th February 1971, these sets were sold at bank face value and contained 1/2 Penny, 1 Penny, 2 Pence, 5 Pence and 10 Pence coins.
